Check out the articles below on the Sheldon Concert a few weeks ago and the new restaurant where I work. The Sheldon show, SONGS OF GREAT AMERICAN CROONERS was SOLD OUT the Tuesday show and had a great turnout for the Wednesday show also. The trio behind me, Rick Zelle piano, Gerald Warren skins and Glen Smith bass, did a fantastic job! I plan to post some audio from that soon. As for the ‘New beginnings’ mention, I am now working fairly steadily at new St. Louis County USA restaurant, FREDERICK’S STEAKHOUSE. Please check that-out below! Please note that I am scheduled there Wed-Sat each week minus these nights thru December: OFF Wed Oct 27 (At RITZ CARLTON Clayton 4-7pm) Nov 6& 7, 14th & 28th. OFF Dec 4 & 5th, 11th and 18th. Please call the restaurant for more info at 314-733-5500. Ciao!

I will be performing a show called SONGS OF THE GREAT AMERICAN CROONERS. A great song list including tunes by Perry Como, Nat King Cole, ‘Bing’ and many more. These one-hour shows are famed for a great cup of java, donuts and music in the venerable Sheldon Coffee served at 9 am. The Tuesday Oct 6th show is SOLD OUT. Please make last minute plans NOW to get mom and dad to this fun event. YOU TOO! More details HERE. Hope to see you! -Alan
Ongoing! (5- 8pm Wednesdays and Thursdays and 6- 9pm Fridays and Saturdays thru December – see off dates in top paragraph). The man seen here (Fred!) may not actually be ‘The Most Interesting Man in the World’ although Fred Waelter, proprietor with Randy Waldman of Frederick’s could fit that bill! Their new place just opened and I stopped in to talk about music – and this led to a few weeks of my playing there beginning in late September. Their concept is an unpretentious yet contemp ambiance (with a nod to The Rat Pack) and to serve aged steaks that don’t cost anywhere near 50 bucks (ouch) and they offer pizza and sandwiches for the more casual diner. Located at 12490 St. Charles Rock Road Bridgeton, MO 63044. 314.733.5500. These 2 St. Louis restaurant vets know what they’re doing in the business. Come be a part of the festive beginnings of a new restaurant landmark in STL County USA. -Alan

We also do other popular tunes such as Besame Mucho, Roadhouse Blues, I Saw Her Standing There, Oye Como Va, Unchained Melody, Tennessee Waltz and Sway. Just a FEW of the many! $15 admission.
